The McCurry Foundation, Inc. is a local, private foundation that was established in 1994. As a charitable organization, our goal is to provide needed financial assistance to college and university students who exemplify leadership, work ethic and academic excellence. To date, we have awarded over 300 grants totaling over $250,000. First year grants average between $1,000 - $1,250.
Our Scholarship program is open to all public high school seniors with preference given to applicants from Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns Counties, Florida and from Glynn County, Georgia. Our program emphasizes leadership in the schools and communities, work ethic evidenced by the student’s employment during high school and academic excellence demonstrated by consistently maintaining a high G.P.A. In addition, applicants must demonstrate financial need and community involvement and service. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required and family income cannot exceed a maximum of $75,000 (AGI).
Download and print the application form and mail it to us with the required attachments. Application deadline is February 15th. Awards are made no later than June for the Fall semester.
