Estee Hernández Program Coordinator Service Scholar Program Center for Leadership & Social Change Florida State University http://thecenter.fsu.edu/recognition/service-scholars [email protected] Troy offers a large variety of majors and minors, so your students are bound to find something they like within our departments. If the students are coming in as Undecided Majors that is okay as well, we have specific departments and advisors for those who are unsure about their intended majors. Troy offers over 110 Majors to choose from and 160 organizations to get plugged in with. It is important to us that your students feel valued and taken care of, feel free to have them contact us to set up meetings with specific department directors and professors during campus tours!
When should you apply for Admission and start Visiting TROY? We accept students once the junior year is complete, which means seniors may apply for admission NOW! Once their final grades are in (they have completed three years of high school by this time), have their transcript sent to us. We will also need a copy of their ACT and/or SAT scores for evaluation. If they have yet to take the ACT or SAT, we will still take their application and transcript. They can indicate on their test that they want the scores sent to TROY or they can email scores directly to myself. Once we have everything: the student’s application (plus the $30 fee), their transcript and test scores, we can make a decision on acceptance. I want to offer you and your students as much personal guidance I can in the application and admissions process here at TROY. Feel free to reach out to me for any concerns or questions!
